I guess this is what I formed for the first time in my life.... When I was taking the class of sculpture in the U.S., a professional sculptor working in Hollywood came to the class and taught us. Naturally, the class was conducted in English. I think it was a great experience for me to touch on sculpture at that time. Finishing creating a prototype and trying to take it home, I did not have a box to put it in and laid the uncovered prototype on the board instead while walking home. A Latino guy happened to talk to me and said “Can you sell this for me?” I told him this was not for sale and said no to his offer. Although I did not imagine at all that I would be involved in creating sculptures at that time, his offer made me happy.
Unfortunately, however, this prototype did not see the light of day. When I checked the box including this prototype on my return flight to Japan, it went somewhere and disappeared. So, this photo is the only sign that tells the prototype was there.
